                          HOH INDIAN TRIBE

                       Ordinance No. 08-01-83

An resolution pertaining to the Solid Waste Program on the Hoh Indian
Reservation.

WHEREAS, the Hoh Tribal Business Committee as the governing body of the
         Hoh Indian Tribe has the authority under the Constitution,
         approved July 1, 1969, in accordance with Article IV, and;

WHEREAS, the Hoh Tribal Business Committee is the governing body of the
         Hoh Indian Tribe and has the power under the Constitution of
         the Hoh Indian Tribe, pursuant to Article IV, Section (a) to
         consult, negotiate, contract or conclude agreements with
         Federal, State and local governments and others, on behalf of
         the tribe and advise with their representatives on all
         activities which may effect the tribe, and;

WHEREAS, The Hoh Tribal Business Committee feels that for the health
         and welfare of the Hoh Indian residents of the Hoh Indian
         Tribe there is a need for the solid waste program to be
         implemented on the reservation.

WHEREAS, The Hoh Indian Tribe is hereby implementing the Solid Waste
         Program starting September 1, 1983.  This program will be
         charging each household the amount of $10.00 a month and also
         the elders over 62 years of age will be paying the amount
         of $5.00 per month

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that this program will be implemented by the
         Ordinance #08-02-83 for the enforcement of fines concerning
         this program.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Bureau of Indian Affairs approve and
         recognize this resolution.

The foregoing resolution was passed at a Hoh Tribal Business Committee
meeting that was held on the 11 DAY of August, 1983 at which time a 
quorum was present, by a vote of 3 FOR, 0 AGAINST and 0 OBSTAINED.
