the Emission Regulations for industrial plant emissions
and ambient air standards for the Crow Indian
Reservation.

violated, in any case, regardless if emission
regulations are met.
C. The equipment requirements on plants shall be
established at such time as any conversion or
industrial plant is approved for construction on the
Crow Indian Reservation.

SECTION XII: ENFORCEMENT AND PENALTIES
A. Enforcement
The enforcement of this Ordinance and any amendment
hereto shall be the responsibility of the Crow Tribal
Police. It is recognized that numberous violations
will exist upon the enactment of this Ordinance, and
that a time for education and the improvement of
economic conditions will be necessary before all such
conditions can be corrected. The Tribal Council shall
have the authority to authorize and permit such
deviations from this code as they may feel are
reasonable.
B. Inspections
The Tribal Police and the Health Advisor shall be
permitted access to all public buildings and business
establishments at all reasonable times for the purpose
of determining compliance with this Ordinance.
C. Penalties
Any person who violates any provision of this Ordinance
or any other issued by the Tribal Council pursuant
hereto shall, upon conviction in the Tribal Court, be
punished by a fine of not more than $100 or not more
than thirty days imprisonment, or by both such fine
and imprisonment. Each day's failure to comply shall
constitute a separate violation.
D. Suspension and Revocation of License to Operate a Business
Establishment
The tribal Court is hereby authorized to suspend and
revoke the license of any business establishment found
to be operating in violation of the provisions of this
Ordinance or the terms of its license to operate; that
a reasonable opportunity (not to exceed 30 days shall
be given to the licensee to take corrective action
necessary to bring the operation of the business
establishment into compliance with this Ordinance or
the terms of its license.
E. Effect of Partial Invalidity
If any section of this Ordinance or part thereof shall
be declared invalid for any reason whatsoever, such
decision shall not affect the remaining portions.
F. Effective Date
This Ordinance shall be effective on and after the ___
day of __________, 19__. Copies of this Ordinance
shall be on file with the Secretary of the Crow Tribal
Council and shall be made available to members of the
Tribe or permit applicants upon request.
