1988 Land and Resource Management Plan (Forest Plan)

Amendments and Revisions

The 1988 Land and Resource Management Plan has been amended since it was written in 1988. The most significant changes were made in January, 2004 by the Sierra Nevada Forest Plan Amendment. Please consult this document for supplemental information on management direction affecting the Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit.

The Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit is starting the process of revising the 1988 Land and Resource Management Plan.  The final, updated document should be available in 2008.
