Meeting of the California Desert District Advisory Council

AGENCY: Bureau of Land Management, Interior.

ACTION: Notice of public meeting.

SUMMARY: Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Public Laws 92-463=20
and 94-579, that the California Desert District Advisory Council to the=20
Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Department of the Interior, will=20
participate in a field tour of BLM-administered public lands on Friday,=20
March 26, 2010, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will meet in formal=20
session on Saturday, March 27, 2010, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Cal=20
Works Building, 2895 S. 4th St., El Centro, CA 92243. Agenda topics=20
will include updates by Council members and reports from the BLM=20
District Manager and five field office managers. Additional agenda=20
topics may include updates on legislation, the Wild Horse and Burro=20
program, and renewable energy. Final agenda items, including details of=20
the field tour, will be posted on the BLM California state Web site at=20

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: All California Desert District Advisory=20
Council meetings are open to the public. Public comment for items not=20
on the agenda will be scheduled at the beginning of the meeting=20
Saturday morning. Time for public comment may be made available by the=20
Council Chairman during the presentation of various agenda items, and=20
is scheduled at the end of the meeting for topics not on the agenda.
    While the meeting is tentatively scheduled to conclude at 4:30 p.m.=20
on Saturday, it could conclude earlier should the Council conclude its=20
presentations and discussions. Therefore, members of the public=20
interested in a particular agenda item or discussion should schedule=20
their arrival accordingly.
    Written comments may be filed in advance of the meeting for the=20
California Desert District Advisory Council, c/o Bureau of Land=20
Management, External Affairs, 22835 Calle San Juan de Los Lagos, Moreno=20
Valley, CA 92553. Written comments also are accepted at the time of the=20
meeting and, if copies are provided to the recorder, will be=20
incorporated into the minutes.
