Advisory Council Meeting and Recreation Subcommittee Meeting; ID

AGENCY: Bureau of Land Management, Interior.

ACTION: Notice of public meeting,

SUMMARY: In accordance with the Federal Land Policy and Management Act=20
(FLPMA), the Federal Advisory Committee Act of 1972 (FACA), and the=20
Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act of 2004 (FLREA), the U.S.=20
Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Coeur=20
d'Alene District Resource Advisory Council (RAC) and Recreation RAC=20
Subcommittee will meet as indicated below.

DATES: September 10, 2007. The meeting will start at 10 a.m. and end no=20
later than 4 p.m. The public comment period will be from 1 p.m. to 1:30=20
p.m. The meeting will be held at the McKay Bend Campground located in=20
Myrtle, Idaho (15 miles east of Lewiston, Idaho on the Clearwater=20
River).

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The 15-member Council advises the Secretary=20
of the Interior, through the Bureau of Land Management, on a variety of=20
planning and management issues associated with public land management=20
in Idaho. The agenda will include the following topics: Forest Service=20
and BLM recreation fee proposals (Recreation RAC Subcommittee) and a=20
report from the Salmon River Working Group subcommittee (RAC).=20
Additional topics may be added and will be included in local media=20
announcements. More information is available at <A =

    All meetings are open to the public. The public may present written=20
comments to the Council in advance of or at the meeting. Each formal=20
Council meeting will also have time allocated for receiving public=20
comments. Depending on the number of persons wishing to comment and=20
time available, the time for individual oral comments may be limited.=20
Individuals who plan to attend and need special assistance, such as=20
sign language interpretation or other reasonable accommodations, should=20
contact the BLM as provided above.
